Biography: I have always drawn and painted. School books were covered inside and out with sketches (much to the annoyance of teachers.
I went to Ripley Art College in Bromley to learn how to handle watercolour as I had previously worked in oils.
I have retired from business and intend to devote my time to portrait painting and teaching painting,drawing and crafts.
I love working in scaperboard which is chalk completely overlaid with Indian ink as in 'Scherezade' or partially as in 'Dog'.
I have recently provided a portrait of H G Wells for the the H G Wells Literary event in Folkestone which was used for the Cover page of their brochure and the cover of the Kentish Times Sunday Suppliment.
I take commissions for portraits in pencil, watercolour or acrylic of people,houses or pets from photographs and teach craft as well as coaching in life drawing. Full details can be found on my website
